Throughout a 12 year career at multiple Johnson & Johnson operating companies, Tony learned how to successfully apply Lean concepts to improve the delivery and quality of health care in numerous sectors. These same Lean principals are widely adopted within the world of manufacturing to improve production output, quality, and the engagement of employees who work within these facilities. Tony has had the opportunity to apply his experiences in Clinical and Pathology labs, Emergency rooms, Operating suites, and Pharmacies. At his final position Tony developed and applied Lean methods for private Optometry and Ophthalmology practices. These have been utilized at over 400 Eye Care practices across the United States and Canada. Within these practices, he has improved patient flow, practice capacity and revenue cycle management. As an entrepreneur, Tony has had the opportunity to utilize Lean principals to create business transformation within multiple manufacturing organizations across the country. Some notable examples are Lockheed Martin, and JW Aluminum. Within these organizations, Tony developed transformation frameworks that include strategy deployment, production system development, and rapid improvement initiatives lead by all levels of the organization.
